Client’s Backstory

Our client saw a growing issue in the job market: the appropriate fit, whether as an employer seeking capable employees or employee seeking the appropriate workplace. Frustrated with the inefficiencies and limited resources available, he took matters into his own hands. With the motive of connecting talented professionals with companies that value their skills, he embarked on developing a portal that makes hiring and getting work done quicker, easier, and more reliable. This website attempts to bridge the gap between the employers and the job seekers, ensuring both parties’ experience is seamless and trouble-free.

The Challenge

We needed to thoroughly understand as a team the dynamics of the recruitment process and how employers search for their perfect candidates. Since we were building the MVP from scratch, it was crucial that we define a clear scope, identify requirements, and set a strong foundation for a smart and intuitive platform. Our team led the entire product discovery — the direction, features, and milestones and deadlines of the project. Technically, the biggest challenge was the introduction of AI to generate accurate, helpful summaries for employers so that they can instantly identify the most suitable candidates. The system had to be smart, flexible, and tolerant of different industries, jobs, and hiring needs. In addition, it was required to have smooth integration with multiple data sources so that it could process the data effectively and give real-time insights. Another major challenge was developing a referral feature whereby users can refer some of the available job vacancies to friends, family, or their network. When the referral button is clicked, the system generates a unique referral link that can be shared easily. If someone applies through that link and gets hired, the referrer receives a cash reward from the company. Getting this system to be secure, traceable, and fair required some planning and precise execution. We also needed to ensure that the site provided good and quality recommendations while being quick and scalable as the number of users grew. The entire system was envisioned as an intelligent and intuitive tool that optimizes the job searching process for both employers and job seekers, with better matches and faster results.

The Solution

 We started by creating a clear-cut product discovery roadmap that covered the full SDLC and defined both software and business goals. We clearly set up the project requirements and assembled a team of professionals to create a scalable, intelligent, and user-focused platform. We concentrated from day one on using new, well-established technologies to deliver the greatest value to users. One of the first steps was defining how the AI would analyze candidate data and generate summaries that would be appropriate to each employer’s needs. We created a flexible architecture that supports multiple data sources and allows the platform to be adaptable across different industries, job titles, and hiring practices. We designed the front end and back end with a robust tech stack that will make future optimizations easy and allow rapid scaling. To make the matching process seamless, we integrated AI algorithms that can extract and emphasize necessary candidate information so that employers can quickly identify the best candidates. Our team designed a clean and simple interface where employers can enter preferences, get AI-produced candidate summaries, and efficiently manage their recruitment process. We also added secure authentication and role-based access to enable different types of users to utilize the platform securely and easily. Apart from these, we have also added a feature for referrals where users can refer specific job openings to friends, relatives, or their network. By clicking on the referral button, the system generates a referral link which is shared easily. If the individual gets employed using that link, the referrer receives some amount of money as a reward from the company. We have made this feature user-friendly, secure, and traceable. To further enhance the efficiency of recruitment, we enabled smart filtering, auto-suggestions, and personalized recommendations — to give every employer the most appropriate matches while bringing job seekers to jobs best suited for their capabilities and ambitions.

Results

Our technology helped the business offer a smarter, more efficient recruitment process. Employers can quickly find top candidates from AI-generated summaries, and job applicants find jobs that match their skills better. Most users report that hiring is done more quickly, they have higher-quality candidate matches, have better interaction with job postings, and overall have a more satisfactory experience for both employers and applicants. The referral feature encourages network-led growth, giving the users an incentive to share opportunities and further expand the scope of the platform. The innovation and impact of the project have also been observed in the startup ecosystem, and the firm has received a position as a top 6 finalist for an impactful startup & tech event.
